Day 1 - ME!

Day 01 - A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

John took this picture. It was on Canada Day after we cam back from the Hippo Bus and Fireworks with Stacey and Tony. It was a very fun day!

Let's see how interesting I am...

1. I love the Band Journey, wouldn't say I have forever but I loved "Don't Stop Believing" way before Glee went and killed it.

2. When it come to my love of music I am definitely an old soul. It is 100% the influence of both my parents.

3. My right thumb resembles a big toe. I would have corrective surgery on it if I thought they offered it. (wait were these interesting or disgusting facts?)

4. I WILL own a house with a pool at some point in my life. I had forgotten how wonderful being in the water was until this summer. I have started taking advantage of the FREE pools in the city. This love of the water comes from spending summers swimming in my grandparents pool as a kid.

5. # 4 most likely means I will in Hamilton or the GHA to be able to afford such a luxury.

Wow, 15 is A LOT

6. I can curl my tongue in 3 loops at the end (as well as the hot dog bun one, as can my mother!)

7. I am in love with Summer.

8. I have the worst memory. Which makes me sad because I know I have all kinds of wonderful memories but I only seem to remember things from photos or after someone reenacts the entire event. Even then I might just say I remember because I feel so bad for the other person because it sounded like such a great time we shared and they look so hopeful that I am going to recall the whole thing.

9. That being said, I also have an almost computer like database of song lyrics and musical timing that I will never ever forget. If I hear a song once I pretty much have it in there for good. I can name that tune given 1 note. No joke.

11. I also suck at math. I always tell myself that I should take a course to get better but where do you even start?

12. I am a slacker when it comes to self improvement!

Oooh. We are getting there. You still with me?

13. If I ever have a 'drink' it is for someone else's benefit. I think it is so interesting how excited people are to see a non-drinker have a drink.

14. When people ask me what I am thinking about and I saw 'nothing' I am not kidding. It's not until they ask me that I start thinking "why am I not thinking about anything?"

15. I am a HUGE fan of Jack Handy's Deep Thoughts.

Here is a cute story...John and my birthdays are 3 days apart. And for our first ever gift exchange we each unbeknownst to the other bought all 4 Deep Thought books for each other.

Talk about a match made in rare comedic heaven!

There is no way I could ever choose a favorite, but here are a few I think are great...

"Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis."
